Question
We will be flying in from NY in Oct 2 adult/1 child and was looking for a reasonable but nice hotel to make our stay very comfortable.  Arriving at Orange Cty Airport...ANy suggestions

Answer
When you say "Anaheim", I am guessing Disneyland. There are literally hundreds of hotels in the immediate area around DL, as well as Anaheim and Buena Park. The best way to find one is to log on to www.travelocity.com and do a hotel search for your dates. Do a "Point of Interest" search for "Disneyland", and start with the hotels right by the front gate. READ THE REVIEWS, and remember that some of them may have been planted by management. Look for a review that is honest and tells the good and bad of a hotel. There are a number of hotels that are relatively inexpensive, yet right next to DL, providing very good value (BW Anaheim, Best Inn, Desert Inn & Suites, for example).

Of course, if you book one of the 3 Disney hotels(Disneyland Hotel, Grand Californian, and Paradise Pier), you will get the best experience, but will have to pay an arm, a leg, and a nostril. I've seen some pretty funny-looking folks leaving the hotel! :)

While you are here, don't forget to see a movie at the Downtown Disney theaters, eat someplace special (like Rainforest Cafe, Medieval Times, or Wild Bill's) and have a Double-Double ant In-N-Out Burger.

Have fun,

Expertise

I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I`ve lived in the Valley, west side, east side, and South Bay, so I`m an expert on getting around town. I`m knowledgeable about all of the Southern California tourist attractions. I am also an expert on state beaches in Southern California, and have an expansive camping background. No relocation/moving questions, please.

Experience

I have lived in Southern California my entire life. I'm a "local", with expert knowledge of Southern California. I've done a lot of extensive traveling to NorCal, so I can provide answers about northern California as a visitor, and southern California as a local.

Education/Credentials
Not that this matters, but since it's required, I have a Bachelor's Degree. I also have a Master's Degree in the University of Life.
