| Comment | Thanks so much for all the info...very detailed and helpful. Looking forward to trying some of those camping spots you suggested, glad to see you like the ones in MY neck of the woods...me too, but I usually prefer farther afield to "get away from it all"! Per your suggestion, think I'll skip CA Adventure, stick with the tried and true Disneyland, at least until they decide what to DO with the other park. The places you eat in Carpenteria are old favorites of mine, too...next time you're there, try another old stand-by called "The Palms", cook-your-own-steak place that's been there for many years. Carp has a lot of nice, homey small-town eateries,..I enjoy wandering around down there even more than I do here in Santa Barbara - not so touristy and expensive...you can still get a good, home-cooked meal in Carp at a reasonable price, plus the pace is slower and more friendly, for the most part. Happy trails, fellow camper! | ||
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I`ve lived in the Valley, west side, east side, and South Bay, so I`m an expert on getting around town. I`m knowledgeable about all of the Southern California tourist attractions. I am also an expert on state beaches in Southern California, and have an expansive camping background. No relocation/moving questions, please.
I have lived in Southern California my entire life. I'm a "local", with expert knowledge of Southern California. I've done a lot of extensive traveling to NorCal, so I can provide answers about northern California as a visitor, and southern California as a local.
Education/Credentials
Not that this matters, but since it's required, I have a Bachelor's Degree. I also have a Master's Degree in the University of Life.
