Question
Hi Steve,

I need to travel from Pasadena to Palm Springs and back in mid-Feb.  Looking for a reasonable car/shuttle service.  Can leave from LA if necessary.  Thanks!

Answer
Hi Peggy,

You didn't mention whether you wanted to drive or not.

If you are available to drive, I always like using Enterprise Rent-A-Car. There are several in Pasadena, and they will pick you up from your location in the area. Check out www.enterprise.com. You can probably get the best deal if you find a "local" office (non-airport and non-hotel).

If you need a ride to PS, try Palm Springs Limo. They have a shuttle service for $79 per person, each way. Not bad, all things considered (PrimeTime Shuttle is $225 round trip). You can find them at www.palmspringslimo.com, or call them at (800) 355-7302.

I just got back from a day in Palm Desert, and it's beautiful this time of year.

Hope this helps,

Steve

I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I`ve lived in the Valley, west side, east side, and South Bay, so I`m an expert on getting around town. No relocation/moving questions, please.

Experience

I have lived in Southern California my entire life. I'm a "local", with expert knowledge of Southern California. I've done a lot of extensive traveling to NorCal, so I can provide answers about northern California as a visitor, and southern California as a local.

Not that this matters, but since it's required, I have a Bachelor's Degree. I also have a Master's Degree in the University of Life.
