Question
Hello I have questions about the bay area. I currently live in south Florida I visted most of california two years ago and I loved every part of it. I really want to move out there I know you have more knowledge of nor cal. I will be done with school next year college I will be getting a bachelors in science in health administration. I need to know for a young 25year multi cultural person like my self what would be a good area with decent cost of living

Answer
The San Francisco Bay would be a great area for a person like yourself.  San Francisco is an expensive place to live.  However, the further east or south you go from San Francisco, the more reasonable housing will be.

Going east on 580 from San Francisco, you will find Dublin, Pleasant, Livermore, Tracy, and Manteca.  Go south and you'll find many towns including Redwood City, Santa Clara, and Morgan Hill.

Good luck to you!

Expertise

I can answer questions about California wineries and recommend lodging and restaurants for wine regions throughout California. I live in Northern California close to wineries in the Sierra Foothills, Lodi, Livermore, and Napa.

Experience

I spend much of my free time enjoying and tasting wine. I am not a wine expert....just someone who enjoys drinking a glass of good wine. My husband and I have traveled throughout California sampling wine and exploring the different wine regions of California for our website, http://www.cheers2wine.com. In addition to our website, we publish a free monthly newsletter called Cheers2Wine News. This newsletter focuses on wine, winery events, free wine tasting coupons, and other things to do in the wine country.
