Question
I have a 1972 Spotmatic Honeywell Pentex 35 mm camera. It has all lens and leather case all in exc. condition.I was wondering what it's worth? Thanks

Answer
It's hard to answer your question precisely because cameras are rated on a condition scale that has about 8 parts, and judging on that criteria requires a visual and functional inspection. If your camera is in excellent condition, which is about 3 steps away from mint condition, and your lens is a 50mm f/1.8 or similar and also in the same condition as the camera, then your item is worth approximately $40. Having said that, your camera/lens could be worth +/- $25 based on the specific condition.
