Hi,

I am currently in eurpe and they have here on sale a Sigma SD14 + 80-200mm, all together for 366$ new 2 years warranty, i know the SD 14 is not as functional as other SLR cam's but has a X3 chip with has the best color rating. My question is, should i buy it ?

Hi Bob,

Making a decision to buy or not should be influenced by more than price alone. While the SD14 does produce very good colors to some, it has many shortcomings that many people find very frustrating. You will get much better image quality and lens performance from one of the kits from either Nikon or Canon. They are more expensive, but worth the cost. I would strongly advise against a Sigma product in this category.
