Cameras/Help with picking a digital camera

Question
Hello, I am looking to buy a digital camera.  My two main things I am looking for are high optical zoom, and fast shutter speed, as I am buying this primarily for outdoor/sport use.  I think I have narrowed it down to two
1. Nikon Coolpix P80 10.1-Megapixel Digital Camera – Black
2. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18S 8.1-Megapixel Digital Camera –   Silver

My question is: You being an expert, if money wasn't an issue, just for what I am wanting, a great optical zoom/fast shutter speed for catching sports action and wildlife, which of these two would you buy?

The below link might help as well looking at them side by side.  Thanks for your help!

Answer
If it were me, I'd buy the FZ-18. It has a much better lens and it has a track recored. The Nikon just came out and there aren't any credible reviews available on the camera yet. I did go to a store recently to try one out, and I was very unimpressed with the build quality and feel of the camera.

I don't think the Panasonic will disappoint you as long as you shoot in plenty of light and keep the ISO setting at its lowest settings whenever possible.
