Question
QUESTION: John, Bought a bag full of lenses, and would like to know the Camera to which this one fits.   A Sears Mod.#202 7368400, Korea,  Multi Coated 1:40-5.6  60-300mm Auto Zoom
+ Macro. #870806464.  I believe that it was to fit a Connon
Camera. Do you know which models it would fit?  Thanks in advance.  Jim

ANSWER: James,

I would need to see a picture of the lens mount.  None of the info you gave me will tell me what it fits and those lenses often weren't marked in a way that would tell you.

QUESTION: John, Did you get the photos through email?

Answer
James,

Yep. Sorry.  Didn't recognize the address so I didn't pay much attention to the email.

Your lens is called an FD mount lens.  It is for use with the old Canon manual focus cameras like the AE1 program and FTB, etc.  Canon stopped producing cameras that took these lenses around 1986 but you can still find nice example used.

Expertise

I can answer questions about point and shoots and 35mm SLR`s from the 1960s to present. I can also handle most questions on digital cameras from "camera" makers, like Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Sony, etc. Though usually I`m not too familiar with the driver interface, as 3rd party devices for download are more efficient. Sorry, but I can no longer answer questions about the value of old cameras.

Experience
