Question
I am wanting to buy a camera and i have 2 choices from which i want to choose from. Out of these two can you tell me which would give me the better picture?
Kodak with 10 megapixels and 5x optical zoom or the Fugifilm with 7 megapixels 10x optical zoom.
I love taking pictures of my kids and i want the camera with the best quality of pictures.

Thanks

Answer
Sherry,

I know from experience that the answer I'm going to give you is not the one you want.  Sorry.

The answer is....  either one.  They are both pretty decent machines and are about the same quality.  I would choose based on how much zoom you really want and which camera you simply like best.

Expertise

I can answer questions about point and shoots and 35mm SLR`s from the 1960s to present. I can also handle most questions on digital cameras from "camera" makers, like Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Sony, etc. Though usually I`m not too familiar with the driver interface, as 3rd party devices for download are more efficient. Sorry, but I can no longer answer questions about the value of old cameras.
