Question
process or way of removing E:91:01 in SONY DSC-W80 & why it becomes hot when the battery stayed on it, in a short minute?

Answer
Rom,

I found a forum that talks about your error.  Here is a quote from the forum:

TO SOLVE FLASH ERROR sony cybershot dscw55 ERROR CODE E:91:01 , JUST GO TO SETUP MENU, SELECT THE TOOLBOX ICON 1 AND SELECT """"INITIALIZE"""" CLICK OK, MASTER RESET AND IT GOES BACK TO NORMAL.

However, I think  the heating issue is probably a different problem.  If the reset does not solve the heating issue, it means you have a short circuit and the camera will have to be seen by a repairman.

Expertise

I can answer questions about point and shoots and 35mm SLR`s from the 1960s to present. I can also handle most questions on digital cameras from "camera" makers, like Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Sony, etc. Though usually I`m not too familiar with the driver interface, as 3rd party devices for download are more efficient. Sorry, but I can no longer answer questions about the value of old cameras.
