Question
I have a Konica FS-1 and need repair with the camera body contact with the battery pack

Answer
Skip,

They no longer make parts for your camera.  While it would be possible to have a part made, or have someone hunt down the parts you might need, the cost would exceed the value of the camera.  You could buy a similar machine used for less.  I strongly suggest you do not put any money into the one you have.

However, if you feel you must fix the one you have, I'd suggest you take it to a local camera store and let them send it away for repair.  (they probably will not be able to repair it in-house as there aren't that many places left that can fix cameras like yours. so they will send it to a repair facility for you)  The reason I suggest letting someone local send it is so that you will not have to deal with the repair facility yourself.  Which can be quite a pain. And you will have someone to talk to face to face.

Some general advice for repair:
Expect a long wait. 6 to 10 weeks.  It's not that it takes that long to fix.  The reason is that there aren't enough repair folks and parts are hard to find.
Remove everything from the camera and send body only. Remove the lens, strap and battery.  If you have a body cap, I would probably put it on, but don't expect to get it back.
If you call to check on the status of your camera, have the repair form in your hand so you can give any info they need.  Do not expect an answer that day.  They will probably have to get back to you.

For the record, I found an FS-1 on eBay for a "buy it now" price of $55 USD.  And I found one being bid on starting at $22 USD.  Both priced with a lens included.

Expertise

I can answer questions about point and shoots and 35mm SLR`s from the 1960s to present. I can also handle most questions on digital cameras from "camera" makers, like Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Sony, etc. Though usually I`m not too familiar with the driver interface, as 3rd party devices for download are more efficient. Sorry, but I can no longer answer questions about the value of old cameras.
