Question
cannot see thru view finder to record:but can see thru viewfinder to see pre_recorded material. any suggestions?
Hi Dave,
It is most likely the CCD. If the CCD is bad, it will not send a video signal to the view-finder. I suggest a new camera. Repair is not a good idea on older cameras. You could get a used VHS camera for twenty or thirty dollars. Or get a new digital video camera. Canon has one for $330.
