Question
For how many hours should I recharge the AA-size batteries that I use in my digital camera?  Also, can you give me an idea of how many times they can be recharged?  I bought my charger on eBay, and it arrived without instructions.  Thank you for your generous help.

Answer
Herb,
Without directions, there is no way to know.  There are chargers that are designed to charge in a few hours, and some are made to charge overnight.  You'd have to find the directions.

How many times you can charge will also depend on the charger itself.  Generally speaking, the faster they charge, the fewer times you can recharge them.

Expertise

I can answer questions about point and shoots and 35mm SLR`s from the 1960s to present. I can also handle most questions on digital cameras from "camera" makers, like Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Sony, etc. Though usually I`m not too familiar with the driver interface, as 3rd party devices for download are more efficient. Sorry, but I can no longer answer questions about the value of old cameras.
