Cameras/Canon Powershot S50 not working

Question
My Canon Powershot S50 suddenly stopped working. Checked with two different batteries to make sure it is not a battery problem. When I open the door, the lens does not come out and the camera started. It does not display the lcd when I try the play button either. No idea where to begin troubleshoot this problem. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.
