Hello Gary. I have a Cannon Power Shot A300, 3.2 mega pixels digital camera. The LCD display has a blurred, running downward black and white image and the photo taken shows this same strange blurred image. I have returned all settings to default. This problem is not covered in the guidebook.
Can you help? Thank you

Here is what I have come up with. Some of the data/facts are not all that current, try the toll free number
A:There is a fix for this.Sony is aware of the problem and will repair the camera up till October 2nd 2006. call 1-866-703-7669

B:The problem is in the CCD , seems to have a connection problem after some period of time. Whatever they used to bond the conection has failed due to age.                WWW rumor/fact is the fix maybe free and the shipping is ????. IF UNDER WARRANTY. Insist upon coverage.

C: If out of warranty or Sony does not recognize the issue vote with your billfold on your next digital camera purchase. Good luck.
