Question
I have Leica D.R.P. Ernst Leitz Wetzlar, Germany. and the serial number is 440264.
The camera is in mint condition and it is totally operatable.
I have not been able to find any information.

Hello,
That is actually a very unusual model. From the serial number, you have a Leica IIc, a basic 35mm coupled rangefinder camera, made by Leitz of Germany in 1948. They only made 11,000 of these, and they were meant to be an affordable alternative to the Leica IIIc. Although it doesn't generate much interest among collectors, a truly excellent example, with an appropriate Leitz 5cm normal lens (an Elmar or Summitar), will sell for about $400 today.
