Question Hi there, hope you can help with a question about a problem with my Nikon D70 digital. I was playing around with the controls, went to "Mirror lock", said OK, then was told to shoot,k which I did, at which point the camera went dark for a moment and all of my photos were apparently erased. At least it seems they were erased as the screen signalled "No photos in the folder". However, I am hoping the photos are still on the memory card because 1) the number of photos available has still decreased from the total normally available in JPEG function when the camera is truly emptied, and 2) it seems strange that not only did I not ask to erase any photos, normally there is a check asking "Are you sure you want to erase photos?" before you can actually erase them. Is this a glitch in the camera? Would be so very grateful if you could help as I obviously don't want to lose my photos. Any way to retrieve or localise them?
Cheers
Robert
