Question
Is there an Olympic digital camera D-540 Zoom incompatibility problem with Windows Vista? I am using CamediaMaster V4.3 to transfer the photos. I am able to transfer photos to my Windows XP computer but with my son's new Windows Vista computer it just says "Busy" unable to connect to camera using the CamediaMaster V4.3. Please e-mail a patch if appropriate to fix this problem. Or is there a setting change that I need to make to the camera?

Answer
All of the vista issues have not been addressed yet.... and on an older camera like yours, they may never be.  The easiest thing to do would be to simply download with a memory card reader instead of connecting the camera to the computer.  And don't use the camedia software at all.

Expertise

I can answer questions about point and shoots and 35mm SLR`s from the 1960s to present. I can also handle most questions on digital cameras from "camera" makers, like Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Sony, etc. Though usually I`m not too familiar with the driver interface, as 3rd party devices for download are more efficient. Sorry, but I can no longer answer questions about the value of old cameras.
