Question
I just purchased this camera from an auction website for $6 bucks,  it came with Lens cap, case, skylight filter. this is the description they gave me when they teseted it, Camera turned on, powered up. Zoomed in/out (sometimes the motor would struggle while zooming in). Was able to get the camera to autofocus and snap a picture with no film (flash and shutter fired) My question is , is the camera user friendly, I don't have an instruction book,is there somewhere online i can get it for free. Did i waste 6.00 bucks on this camera.

Answer
Well, it's pretty old for the type of camera it is.  If the motor is struggling it will only get worse.  As far as being user friendly.....  well it's only a point and shoot.  Should be pretty easy.  A manual would cost you another $10 USD.  I've never come across any for free.

Expertise

I can answer questions about point and shoots and 35mm SLR`s from the 1960s to present. I can also handle most questions on digital cameras from "camera" makers, like Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Sony, etc. Though usually I`m not too familiar with the driver interface, as 3rd party devices for download are more efficient. Sorry, but I can no longer answer questions about the value of old cameras.
