Question
I bought this camera a year ago June, this May at my sons graduation it stopped working. No trauma to camera, it just fails turn on now. When I press the power button, the lights on the back flash once and thats it. The lense doesnt attempt to open, nothing. Olympus will not respond, while I know it is not a "high dollar" camera, it is still not a throw away. Thanks for any help.....Scott

Answer
If you feel comfortable with taking the camera apart that still leaves the question of getting a new power button, your call. Sorry the all in one buttons fail just as others do. A little wd-40 and working the button via the following method: wd-40 or similar, wipe excess, press and hold the button for 4-5 seconds repeatedly. Use the wd-40 only once. Try this several times over the space of an hour and hope that clears the issue.
Good luck
