Cameras/Problem with my vivitar camera

Hey, my vivitar is displaying an 'error 2' message and will not take any photos. What's wrong with it?

The error message is a maintenance code. If it something you can fix, it will be listed in the troubleshooting section of your instruction book. If it's not there, it means it must be sent to a technician. I hate to give bad news, but if you can't fix it yourself you should just throw it away and get a new one. Oh, and if you ever need to ask a question here again, please give more information about what kind of camera you have. There have probably been about 1000 Vivitar cameras over the last 50 years.
