Question
What is the difference between the Zenit E and the Zenit EM?

Answer
Hello Ben,

This is taken from "Roland and Caroline's Home Page".

The main difference between the 2 is that the Zenit-EM has automatic stop down of the aperture on firing the shutter. This means that focusing can be done at full aperture (normally F2) - but there is no risk the picture will be taken at anything other than the aperture selected on the lens' aperture ring. The feature however relies on using lenses designed for auto stop down. Older lenses - known as 'preset' as used with the Zenit E still need stopping down as before.

Expertise

I can answer questions about point and shoots and 35mm SLR`s from the 1960s to present. I can also handle most questions on digital cameras from "camera" makers, like Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Sony, etc. Though usually I`m not too familiar with the driver interface, as 3rd party devices for download are more efficient. Sorry, but I can no longer answer questions about the value of old cameras.
