Question
I have Olympics 5050, I shoot my art work and antique collection from 1" to 20" high, even I trun to tiff, I still see grain, how to set up ISO, shutter speed and apature to get the sharp clean picture?  I am poor to set up lighting, I need your suggestion, thank you.

Answer
Shylin,

Tiff or Jpeg have nothing to do with grain (actually called noise in digital photography).  Grain is caused by ISO.  The higher the ISO, the worse the grain.  So, set it as low as you can.  I can't tell you what shutter-speed and aperture.  That will be dictated by how much light you have.

Expertise

I can answer questions about point and shoots and 35mm SLR`s from the 1960s to present. I can also handle most questions on digital cameras from "camera" makers, like Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Sony, etc. Though usually I`m not too familiar with the driver interface, as 3rd party devices for download are more efficient. Sorry, but I can no longer answer questions about the value of old cameras.
