Question
Hello David,
Could you please tell me the current market value of a 16 mm baby max mini-camera? I really like that camera and there`s a guy on e bay that is selling one for $60. is that a good price or is too expensive? The camera seems to be in good condition.

The Baby-Max is a typical "Hit" style subminiature camera (the Hit was the camera that introduced this style in the late 1930's), made by Tougodo Optical of Japan in the early 1950's, for 14 x 14 mm exposures on tiny rolls of 16mm film. There are MANY different names out there for Hit type cameras, and the Baby-Max is slightly less common than most. A truly excellent example would sell for around $40 to $50, so I'd suggest that $60 is a bit too high. Not outrageous, but high.
