Question
I have my first digital camera (Kodak CX6330). I will be in Europe for 3 weeks with it.
#1 How long will a fully charged battery last approximately?
#2. What should I do when the rechargable battery dies out?
#3 I have a 256MB memory card. How many pictures will that take would you guess?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Answer
Harriet,

1. Too many variables to say.  It depends on the type and the power of the batteries you use.  And also on how much you use the LCD and flash.  The instruction book should give you some examples of how long your batteries will last under different conditions.  There is no true answer to this question.

2. If you can no longer recharge it, replace it.

3. This is also in your instruction book.  Different cameras save images with different amounts of compression.  I couldn't possibly memorize all the different cameras out there. But if you make me guess, I'll say between 150 and 200.

Expertise

I can answer questions about point and shoots and 35mm SLR`s from the 1960s to present. I can also handle most questions on digital cameras from "camera" makers, like Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Sony, etc. Though usually I`m not too familiar with the driver interface, as 3rd party devices for download are more efficient. Sorry, but I can no longer answer questions about the value of old cameras.
