I want to buy DSLR recently but I am confused between two model; Nikon D80 with 18-135 Nikkor or Canon EOS 400D with 17-85 IS lens. would you please help me in this case?

I would be glad to help.  But you will have to ask me some specific questions.  You say you are confused, but not what you are really confused about.

If you are asking me which one is better, then there is no answer.  One is not better than the other.  If you can't decide, then go to the store and hold and play with each one.  The one YOU like more is the best.  I know it sounds silly, but this is the truth.  Both are good cameras and one does not take a better picture.

As I said, if you have a specific question about differences or about features one may have and the other may not, I will be glad to help.  Just write back.
