James,

Does the lens have a rear lens cap?  If it does they sometimes had a two letter code on the inside that would tell what the mount is.  The rear cap, not the front one.

Answer
James,
Hi.  Your lens was designed to fit on a pentax manual focus camera. It will work on cameras made after 1975 with no problem.  Cameras like the K1000 and the ME Super are the most common.  Your lens will also mount on the AF digital SLR cameras Pentax makes today, but you will lose the computer functions and would have to use the camera manually.  Hope this helps.

Expertise

I can answer questions about point and shoots and 35mm SLR`s from the 1960s to present. I can also handle most questions on digital cameras from "camera" makers, like Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Sony, etc. Though usually I`m not too familiar with the driver interface, as 3rd party devices for download are more efficient. Sorry, but I can no longer answer questions about the value of old cameras.
