Question
I have a leica camera that is marked with Nr.827546, it is in mint condition.It is in a leather case, and has a detachable light meter with its own leather case. I was wondering what year it was made, and what the value of it would be? Also, how could I obtain an instruction booklet?

Hello Pixie,
According to the serial number, you have a Leica IIIg made by Leitz of Germany in 1956. This is a relatively common model, and over 40,000 were sold from 1957 to 1960, but very high quality. A truly excellent example with an appropriate 5cm Leitz lens should go for around $500 or so. For an instruction manual go to this web page:
