Cameras/olympus om10 problem

Question
As I was taking a picture with my Olympus om10 it froze mid picture and now the winder is stuck. Can I sort this myself or will it need a professional. Many thanks for any advice offered

The OM10 has an all electronic shutter. If it won't fire, you may want to try cleaning the battery contacts or even a new battery. If that doens't work, there is really nothing you can do except replace it. I don't suggest a repair on a camera like that as the cost of repair would probably be more than finding a decent used one.
