Question
I have a Kodak EasyShare digital camera and would like to know if you can download pictures without the kodak software. Will it download to XP's software. Thank you

Every Kodak I've come across requires to use their software. I've never seen a kodak that uses mass storage or PTP. If you can't use (or don't want to use) their software, I'd suggest you get a memory card reader. I decent one will run around $30usd.
