Subject: What can I bring back to USA

Question
We are driving to Vancouver for one day. Can we bring back 222's and cheese? What can we not bring back?

Thank you.

Answer
Hi Carol,

In one day you can't bring back a whole lot. I am not sure what 222's are (pain killers)?  As for the cheese, yes I think it is ok.

"For U.S. residents returning after an absence of less than 48 hours, the allowance is $200 U.S. per person. Alcohol and tobacco products are not included in this exemption"

Neither of the items are tobacco or alcohol so you should be ok.

Hope this helps,

Tracey
