Canadian Football/CFL broadcasts in the USA

Question
If a player signs with a Canadian team how would his family members get to see the games if they wanted. Or do they have a US TV station that carries FL games.

Answer
Hi Phyllis,

The only answer I can give is - it depends.  CFL teams do not have their own network like the NFL network.  Games are broadcast in Canada on either CBC or TSN - two Canadian channels.  You'd have to subscribe to a carrier that has one or both of those channels available.

The other alternative is that CBC (and maybe TSN?) will stream shows on the Internet.  Go to their websites (www.cbc.ca and www.tsn.ca) to see if this is an option for you as well.

Hi Phyllis,

I just heard that the CFL is having some games broadcast on the NFL network in the USA.  I'm not sure which ones or when they are being broadcast, but that's another option for you.
