My son currently plays football in the OVFL and coaches say he is avery good plaer however he is not university bound academically, is there any other league to play in to get noticed by CFL teams or do they only draft from universities

Hi BM,

I'm not sure what the OVFL is, so it's hard for me to know the quality of the league.  CFL teams are a little more open to finding players from all over, but the vast majority are still from US or Canadian universities.  

They do hold open tryouts every year, so that might be an avenue that your son explores.  Open tryouts are usually in the spring.  Check each team's website around the new year to find out when/where the tryouts are located.
