Question
Hi My name is Ben. I heared that at the turn of the twentieth century, Canada's economic development was not evenly distributed across teh vearious regions of the country. But I want to know that is it true. And if it is true than can you please expplain me or can you please tell me some evidence of that. I will wait for youy answer.

Have a good day,
Ben

And many many thanks for reading my question.

Answer
Yes that is true.

The reason is that natural resources of certain regions dictated the development of that region over others that had little or the wrong kind.

Praries verses Upper & Lower Canada is an example. At the turn of the century farming was not any where as efficient as it is now, so the ivestment return to dev land wasn't near as good as investioning in forestery and mining or heavy industry in Upper and Lower Canada
