I just need info on immigration to the west 1881-1887  that also ties into how the canadian pacific railway affects it i'm in grade 10 and love history but i'm realy strugiling....bad spelling sorry.......with this project. If you can get back to me A-SAP it would be the coolest Thanks

Hi Virgil:

Well thats a really big subject......

In simple terms the CPR enabled immigration toi happen in a scale that would have been impossible without the railway.

What took months by road/trail now happened in days. Within a few short years, the population in the west increased dramatically. Settlements poped up every where resulting in tremendous development in farms, ranches and other industry everywhere west of Lake Superior.
