Canadian Law/Traffic Law Incident

Question
Hello Mark, I have a question about traffic laws
Here's the background story:
-I was driving down a county road with speed limit 80 km/h and the person in front of me was doing 80 or so, but I was in a rush and tried to pass them, but they sped up so that I could not. He ended up going about 110, so I stayed behind him
-They turned down a side road, and I thought "thats that"
-It turns out that we were, more or less, going in the same direction though, because I ended up behind him again a few minutes later on a 50 km/h road, on which he was doing less than the speed limit. Once again, I try to pass him and he speeds up, though I do eventually get in front of him.
-He then tailgates me and gestures threateningly and FOLLOWS me to my girlfriend's house and starts to yell at me about how he is going to tell his brother who is a Police officer.

So, my questions are:
-If he goes to the Police and tells them that I was speeding, or "driving recklessly", can they do anything about since they were not there to see it in the first place?
-If I do get brought in or something, and he wants to persue me legally, would the fact that he blocked me from passing be worth mentioning?
-And would his threatening gestures and tailing me to my grifriend's house be considered harassment or something along those lines?

I know its a bit of a messy situation, but any help that you would be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Also, if there are any applicable law codes that I could look up and print off, or quote if something comes up, could you direct me to them?

Thanks for your time,

Kieran

Answer
Given what you have described I would suggest that you contact a lawyer.
Yes you could be charged based on witness statement.
And remember that you are not to exceed the speed limit even if yuo are trying to pass.
You may want to consider making your own report on this person for Aggressive driving.
