QUESTION: what is the law for school zones. the signs say 30km/h. my question is what are the hours for these to be in affect.i was told different things and would like the real answer
ANSWER: The posted speed limit is for all hours of the day or night unless otherwise posted.

QUESTION: Ok if there is a cross walk in the middle of the school zone and on the top it says 30km\h when lights flashing does that count as otherwise posted
I do mean to burst you bubble.
Maybe a course in Reading might have helped you as I said in my original answer

It is always disturbing when people ask for help and show no respect for the person volunteering their time and knowledge to assist them.

| Comment | i dont mean to burst your bubble but i just found my wifes handbook from 2005 and it states quote from the book is The speed for both urban and rual school zones is 30 km/h unless otherwise posted. then underneath it says times (school days only) 8am to 930am,1130am to 130pm,300pm to 430pm | ||
