Question

kitchen tile
I paid a flooring franchise $4,671.00 (50%) to lay tiles in my home. The workmanship was so poor I had to hire another company to do it all again. The franchise owner refused to fix the many tiles that were sticking up so badly that you could actually stub your toe when walking on the floor. He walked off the job one month after he started. It was suppose to take one week but dragged on for a month because of many days he didn't show up.  My contract didn't say he had to make tiles flush with each other. Should this matter? How well do cases like this do in small claims court?

Answer
Document everything and track all correspondence with this contractor.
In general if you have all the facts and keep emotion out if the case you should do well.
