Canadian Law/Inquiry about if I should fight a speeding ticket

Question
Hi,

I was pulled to the side of the road by one Officer (#1), then given a ticket by a different Officer (#2). It appeared that the Officer (#3) that lasered my vehicle was a few km's behind where I was pulled over...I found this whole set up to be quite odd. All seemed to be communicating via walkie/talkie...

In fact, when Officer #2 came to my window all he said was, "You've been pulled over for speeding" and he didn't even say how fast I was going. When he approached my window with the ticket, it was only once I asked what speed I was going that he told me.

I'm wondering - I want to plead NOT GUILTY - but what would the reprecussions be? What do I need to prove to have my case won? I was going the speed limit when I saw the Officer (#1) on the road ready to pull me over...

In addition, the traffic was wall to wall two lane traffic...so, how do they know there shot was accurate, especially when I'm my medium sized car next to RV's coming back from a long weekend camping...?

Answer
In priniciple you should always fight traffic tickets, in that the officer may not show up or you may at least get it reduced.
As to the mulltible officers involved I presume this was on a highway and for a few years now the tactic to use on officer to radar and other officers to to the stop is common and not a prolem.
