Question
Hello,

What recourse to I have when a defendant/plaintiff lies and/or deceives during a civil matter. Person claimed no contract was signed or partnership entered however there is a copy of the contract to prove otherwise. This person lied under oath and in writing.

Answer
In Ontario your only recourse is to appeal and that would move it to the Higher Courts and would require you have a Lawyer, the average costs of an appeal is in the range of $8000.00 to $15000.00 .
If there was evidence of the contract one wonders why you did not present it at trial.
