Canadian Law/Questions re: Offense Notice

Question
Mark,

Thanks for the quick response. The ticket was issued outside of Calgary, AB by an RCMP officer. Under the Use of Highway & Rules of the Road Reg I was charged with sec 29(1) Make U turn unsafely. The accident report shows a left turn across path, but it was more of a sideswipe, same direction. (My front end, her passenger side).

Question -
I have a couple of questions:

The officer did not present the ticket to me at the scene of an accident, in fact it was hand delivered to me a couple of months later by 2 other police officers. Should I bring up the fact that the officer checked off the Offence Notice declaration in my hearing?

The ticket was issued in reponse to an accident I was involved in. The accident report is incorrect. Should I bring this up?

I have provided the court with updated mailing address 2x and updated my license, but the hearing information was sent to the incorrect address, is this something I should bring up?

I was told my hearing was @ the criminal court house, why would it be there if is a traffic offense.
Answer -
I would need more info, as in the actual charge and juristiction.
However it is always wise if you are going to represent yourself that you keep accurate notes on actions pertaining to your case.
Please provide the additional info.

Answer
I am not athat familar with the Traffic act in Alberta so I suggest you may want to contact www.lawyerlocate.ca a free referral service, they will in turn put your request out to lawyers in the Calgary area that pratice this type of law.
It is always wise with insurance rates going up and up to seek legal counsel in a charge like this.
