Question
My mother is 90 years old - in and out of the hospital and I am her power of attorney. She is co-executor of her deceased husband's estate along with his 60 year old son. The estate stimulates that she is to receive the "net income derived from the investment of the estate" during her lifetime. For the past three years, he has failed to provide this income to her. He writes 12 page letters to her charging $120. per letter; insists that she prepare the estate tax; essentially he has been holding the income with ever increasing demands. How can I proceed to help her receive these funds without involving a legal battle? She is now in a position where the money would help with her homecare costs.

Answer
I assume yo are referring to a Lawyer.
If so you can report that Lawyer to the Law society in the Province you  are in and they will Investigate the complaint.
Or you can seek your own legal counsel.
