Question I am from Edmonton, AB and have recently gotten a photo radar ticket. From the location on the ticket, the photo radar van was parked in a parking lot outside of a strip mall. For some reason I was under the impression that they had to park on public property, unless perhaps that parking lot is considered public? I was wondering what you know about the regulations for where they are permitted to park. Thanks.
Answer I only deal with Ontario, however I would doubt that the location of the Photo radar van would have any bearing on the the ticket itself.
Having said that I always recommend fighting all tickets, it may result in a reduction or even a withdrawal.
Good Luck
