Question
my husband would like to retrieve some of his things (personal property), from his parent's house. they are not on good terms, and have stated that he is not allowed to come into their house. i was wondering how he can go about getting his stuff from their house. he can't use his key and go in because they have told him that he isn't allowed to come in. can he ask his town police to escort him in, and would that make it legal? what are his options, since they refuse to set a date for him to pick up his good, and they refuse to get the stuff for him and leave it outside so he is not entering their home?

Answer
The best solution to this would be to involve the Police.
