Question
We were in a car accident  that wrote off both our car and travel trailer. The insurance co wants to settle the trailer for 7.000 less that we still owe on it. The trailer was not even a year old. We were not at fault and the driver that t-boned us has been charged.

Answer
Depending on the province that this occurred you should be able to provide your own estimates to the insurance company of the person who hit you.
I suggest you get at 3 estimates and submit them to both your Insurance company and his.
Failing that you should seek legal advice in your area from a Lawyer that specializes in insurance claims.
I suggest you  use this free service Lawyerlocate.ca
