Question Once a lending institution has announced an auction date on a foreclosure in Canada, can a prospective buyer negotiate with the owner?

not 100% sure... but I understand that at this stage the wheels are in motion and that it is too late.
I would contact the lending institution to get more details. The owner would also have received legal notices with particulars.
