Question I HAVE A STOCK CERT. FOR QUESABE MINES LMT. THAT MY GRANDFATHER
BOUGHT IN 10-1-1948. IT APPEARS TO HAVE CHANGED TO SUNBURST
EXPLORATION LMT., OR SUNBURST RESOURCES INC, IN EARLY '90'S W/
SYMBOL SNBR. IN 1993 THEY SECURED RIGHTS TO MARKET COLD-EEZE IN
CANADA
ACCORDING TO VENTURE MARKET DIGEST 10-'93. CAN YOU TELL IF IT'S
WORTH ANYTHING? THANKS
Answer Mike, I did not check out the trail from Quesabe to Sunburst, but I did follow it from Sunburst on. Sunburst went though a couple more name changes and changes of business and eventually became Zaurak Capital. Zaurak was cease-traded by both Ontario and Alberta in 2002, and those orders remain in effect. Therefore, if your research and my research are both correct, there is no current market or value to the shares.
I suggest you take the certificates to a broker and ask them to perform a more detailed search for you and confirm all of this information.
