Question
I have 500 shares of Monogram Petroleums Limited, purchased May 16,1951,from L. Carlin Corp.Ltd Yuqxobounge Street Toronto. Do they have any value

Answer
William, I have no information on Monogram except that it made the United State's Securities and Exchange Commission's Canadian Restricted List in 1957. That list is for stocks that are being sold in the US to US residents without an SEC registration. Good companies don't do that, and it does not suggest the company was around for a long time.

If there is a transfer agent/registrar listed somewhere on the certificate, you should contact them first. They keep the shareholder list and will know if the certificate has any value. You could also try the Province of Incorporation and see what they have on file, but considering the age of the certificate I doubt that would be much help. I suggest your best chance is to take the certificate to a broker and ask them to perform a more detailed search for you.
