Question
SIR in 1981 i purchased some shares from.Durham securities
CORP LTD.=OFFSET OIL & GAS. & CELINA RESOURCES INC.=PURE ENERGY.national TRUST CO LIMITED TORONTO.I HAVE THIS INFO
BUT WERE DO I START LOOKING.to see if these, shares are stil
good.or who should i contact.THANK'S.

Answer
Unfortunately, anything purchased from Durham in that era is unlikely to have much value, either then or now. But, it is still worth investigating.

I took a look but have no information on any of those stocks. If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, start with them. You could also contact the Province of Incorporation (probably Ontario, but should also be on the certificate somewhere) and see if they have any information you can use. However, considering the age of these stocks and that you have several of them, taking the certificates to a broker and asking them to perform a more detailed search for you is probably your best avenue of approach.
