Question I found some old certificates of shares purchased in the 1960's. Is this company still out there?
Answer Martha, I have been asked about Globe Exploration before, but I have no information on the Company at all. If there is a transfer agent listed on the certificate, I would absolutely contact them first - they would know if your certificate has any value. If the agent is unavailable, you could try the Province of Incorporation and see what information they have on file, but I would instead suggest you take the certificate to a broker and ask them to perform a more detailed search for you.
